Running with Others--8 Miles Total

Weather Report: Cloudy, 83°F, 38% Humidity, Winds: From SSW @ 12 mph; feels like 82°F.

Run: 6.75 miles in :56:20 min. @ 3:30 p.m.
Pace: 8:20 min./per mile avg.

It is amazing how quickly the miles go by when you are running with another person. I have never been much of a social runner, although I do enjoy talking briefly with others while running races, but I can definitely see (and feel) the training benefit. I actually had the unique opportunity to run twice today with two different folks...

After work today, a colleague showed me some trails along the Genesee River in the northern most part of the city...

Run: 1.25 miles in :24:00 min. @ 8:30 p.m.

Late in the evening Anne, Greg and I went for a training run around our neighborhood. The temperature being almost 20F warmer than yesterday made for a slightly more challenging run than our last together, but we made it anyway!

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
