Brotherhood of the Beard: Adam Yauch

Apparently "our man" MCA, or Adam Yauch, is no longer sporting the billie goat, but has opted to join the Brotherhood of the Beard. While surfing the web I did a search on 'celebrity beards' (yes, I have a little free time) and Mr. Yauch's was the one I elected to post in my inaugural Brotherhood of the Beard (BotB) post here on Walk-a-bout!. This recent flurry of beard-centric posts is actually an extension of a previous blog I occassionally still post to called, surpise, The Brotherhood of the Beard.

A little background... the first blog I began lo those many months ago (gosh, its been a year!)was entitled "The Guild of the Beard." After racking my noggin' for a few days it was the best (translation: unique) niche subject area I could come up with. This initial venture into the blogosphere was aborted when I decided that it might not be a topic that could be sustained over an extended period of time (I was/am still not fully committed to really maintaining a full beard).

It now appears that I have come back to the beginning (so to speak) and am starting to think about blogging about beards (facial hair, that is). Time (and interest) will tell how long we go at it this time... but by being a smaller part of the larger Walk-a-bout! blog, at least if I lose interest, no one will notice.
