Today my stepson began classes at school, my daughter had soccer practice (her first game is tomorrow), and my son had sixth grade orientation. Tomorrow morning, I'm meeting my new academic team at school. And so it begins... the motivation wains slightly under the pressure to be many places and many times. The excuses come much more readily when clutching at reasons why I shouldn't run. "Man, that ankle is really feeling tweaked tonight..."
Well, SNAP OUT IT...once I quit procrastinating and got my can out the door, the coolish air, low humidity and occassional sunshine made for a GREAT training run.
During my "Off Day" yesterday I also finally found another Cho-Pat dual knee strap for my right knee and was able to get rid of the neoprene sleeve. This made my leg feel much less compressed (and somehow confined) and it was all systems were "GO!"
Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
