And though my words might make fun,
there’s a tear in my eye
‘cause I know in that crew were true friends,
and I’d gladly trade in my wealth and my goods
to ride with that outfit again.

A nice Recovery Run to follow-up yesterday's (not-so-)Long Slow Distance run. Still feeling the positive vibe from our Western sojourn, and thinking fondly of our own landscape in light of the West's, both of which I feel a connection (and longing for) depending on where we are at the moment.

My heart and mind are feeling (there's that word again--I can think of no appropriate synonym) incredibly strong and very in touch with my running... let's hope it lasts!

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
