Tuesday's A New Day

Run: 6.25 miles in :47:07 min. @ 7:00 p.m.

Heart Monitor Data: 670 cals, 84% MHR avg., 92% MHR max.

Weather Report: Mostly Cloudy, 67°F, 76% Humidity, Winds: NNE @ 8 mph; feels like 67°F.

The first day of "work" with students arriving on Thursday, so for the first time in a while, I woke up early this morning, not to watch birds, or play on the computer, but to get ready for the workday. This means no more mid-morning or early afternoon runs. Fortunately there were no extracurricular things going on with the kids tonight, but that, too, will quickly change.

So how did the first run following Sunday's 1/2 marathon go?

Pretty good! It took a little while for me to get my form in line, but while slightly heavy "footed" things came into alignment and I maintained a relatively up tempo.

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
