Can a person really know their city until they've run the streets at night?

Can man know his own heart until he's walked in his own shoes? Not just walking, like to the refricgorator or to get the paper off of the front porch, but really walked with his eyes open to his world...

Can a man run away from his own heart, once he's seen it?

This story starts like most of mine do, of plastic soles slapping pavement as I run down the road through the darkness...

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
