Didn't make it to the treadmill tonight, as I had thought I might. It's not as though the opportunity didn't present itself (my stepson did have swimming practice at the YMCA), but my ankle was still very sore. After a day of walking around the classroom in my old trail runners (a sad attempt at a "soft"step), on a ACE-bandaged ankle, it still did not feel stable enough to risk exacerbating a possible injury. I have thus far stayed clear of the doctor's office as he (my general practitioner--one of the seven people I need to see before a specialist) would probably tell me to ice it and rest. This I can "diagnosed" on my own, and will proceed to practice. My participation in both Saturday's 10k and Sunday's snowshoe race are now in question, so I've taken a "wait and see" attitude until making a decision Friday. (Why Friday? Because that will still give me some time to cleanse my body with good foods and drinks in time to maximize my performance--yup, I'm a superstitious nut!).
Adio, wli nanawalmezi.
