Run: 4.5 miles in :38:33 min. @ 3:00 p.m.

Weather Report: Cloudy, 44°F, 57% Humidity, Winds: From W @ 15 mph; feels like 36°F.

This might be it for a while. I was seduced by the beautiful weather, a full winter thaw, and my own sense of growing success over the past few days working with the treadmill and the bicycle.

Today for the first time in over a week-and-a-half I went running outside and it felt glorious... at the start. At about the two mile point, as I was running down Main Street, only about two blocks from where my wife works, my left ankle began to ache. Right in back. But what could I do? Not only was I about two miles from home, but worse, I was wearing tights. I couldn't really stop in the hood with my tights on and start walking, so I decided to saunter... until I could get home roughly three miles later.

After coming home, I immediately called and made an appointment with my primary physician which may, or may not, lead to my once again moving through the circuitous primary physician-referral process. The sooner the better.

For now, it's back to the Birds Eye Frozen veggies.

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!

I agree.... stopping in the hood with your tights on sounds like a REALLY bad idea. :D

You should refrain from running until your foot's healed. It doesn't look good.
