Afraid that I might have to run in the cold rain, which is expected of this afternoon, I crawled out of bed early this Palm Sunday and went for what, in my new training paradigm, passes as a long-run, just a little over seven-and-a-half miles. It was glorious running down the nearly empty streets and passing through some of my old haunts, both running and living (my old neighborhood in which reside the first house I bought). The time and miles went by fairly easily and in spite of slight aches, I felt as though I could have gone further.
