Christmas Round-up

Each year, in commemoration of her "birthday" (she came to live in our home exactly four Christmases ago), Gracie gets a new "baby" from Santa. This year the "baby" she had in her stocking was one which actually looked like Santa. While usually content to simply chew on the toy's stuffed "head," chances are good that Gracie will in an effort to unearth the small plastic bubble from which the squeak emanates--for some reason she loves digging for that squeaker! While Gracie initially had a grand time carrying Ol' Saint Nick around Christmas morning, her nose could not escape the scent of rawhide chews in her stocking! Fear not though, her attentions will return to the hugging and chewing of Santa, pretty much "loving" him to shreds.

As is the case seemingly every year, there were W-A-Y too many gifts under the tree this year, and following an at least four week build-up to three days of gorging on cookies (well, for me anyways), gifts, and last minute shopping, it is fair to say that we are ready for a retrun to nomralcy from the feverish holidy spirit. Everyone seemd very satisfied with the presents they recieved, after an exhaustive two months of finding the right gift, the deciiously vicious cycle of which will resume again in about ten short months...

Embrassez votre été invincible!
