Bicycling: 13.2 miles in :55:22 min. @ 10:00 a.m.

Weather: Cloudy, 66°F, 85% Humidity, Winds: NW @ 17 mph, gusting up to 21 mph; feels like 66°F.

Pace: 4:11 min./per mile avg.

I almost went against my current training plan and went for a run today, nearly seduced by what are perfect weather conditions. Fortunately for me, nature intervened last night, when, having left much of my supplemental running gear (water belt, knee brace, ankle braces... you know, all the robotic-type stuff) was left outside to air and in poured out last night. So... I went for a bicycle ride this morning instead!

I first road on the roads, streets and avenues (4.4 miles) to Lock 33, one of the many entrance points for the Erie Canal Pathway, on the edge of suburbia. From there I rode along the Erie Canal Path until it turned into the Genesee Riverway Path (4.2 miles) in Genesee Valley Park and straight into the heart of the city, at which point I could view the site pictured above--albeit much cloudier, (2 miles). Exiting the path, I returned home via the streets (2.2 miles).

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!

I like the picture. I envy your athleticism... on second thought I like being inactive.

Very nice picture.
