"I have two doctors, my left leg and my right."~G. M. TrevelyanBeginning the day with a humid run through the heart of the River City: street cleaners sweeping out the curb drains, businessmen sitting outside the coffee shops reading the morning newspaper, men and women getting exercise as they amble to work, the bus stop... wherever.
It is no surprise that, like most I suppose, going for a run gives me a chance to first reflect on the issues, concerns or ideas that are with me at the time, and then, more importantly, to accept and release those issues, concerns, or ideas over which I have little control. In this way, my "doctors" are the prescriptions that help me maintain some balance. Think about it, difficult times are only as challenging as they are allowed to be--so I choose to work them or release them...
Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!

How funny, these days we are getting over 110 degree temperature in Phoenix but when it's not so hot I walk during my lunch hour a two mile perimeter from work, it takes me 40 minutes. Truth be told I can't even run 200 steps and I'm out of breath.
Hey thanks for the good wishes you left on my blog, it's exciting to hit the 1-year mark, you post some pretty terrific pictures too.
thanks! someday i hope to learn to actually take really good pictures... sometimes i feel like i'm trying to paint with oils and the results look like crayon...
thanks for the comment!
