The Training Week That Was... 6/26-7/1

A fairly successful week of training, though my total mileage took a slight dip. The highlight was the Furry Scurry 10k yesterday, because my family (including our dog, Gracie, pictured to the right) were there to play, too! Here's a quick look at how things went down this week:
Legend: R = Running, R(T) = Running on Treadmill, w/A (with Anne), E = Easy Pace, and I've also noted increases (+x) or decreases (-x) from the previous week)

Monday: R 9.4 miles (Weight: 189 lbs.)
Tuesday: Off Day (38 min. Bicycling)
Wednesday: R 5.5 miles
Thursday: Off Day
Friday: R 7.1 miles
Saturday: R 6.2 miles (Furry Scurry 10k)
Sunday: R w/A 1.8 miles (E)
TOTALS--R 30 miles (-3.1 miles from the previous week)
The good news is that I did lose a pound from the Monday prior, and can likely attribute the slight dip in total mileage to my not having gone on the normal number of training runs with Anne.

Coming this week: The 30th Annual Utica Boilermaker 15k, the nation's largest (by virtue of having over 10,000(!) registered participants) on Sunday.

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
