Course: A circuitous path consisting of roads paved with ice and sidewalks of slushy snow.
I didn't take the single jingle bell I had drawn my shoelaces through for yesterday's race. Consequently, I was guided on y run this evening by the fairly consistent "jingle-jingle-jingle" which accompanied each foot strike. Rather than being a distraction, I found myself listening for the even jingling to measure the consistency of my stride.
