R.I.P.: Bruce "Utah" Phillips (1935-2008)

Driving home from my son's baseball game this evening, and listening to Democracy Now! on Air America Radio, I heard the news that labor organizer, folk singer, storyteller, and poet Utah Phillips had passed away. Admittedly, I knew little to nothing about Utah, but after hearing an interview with him, I wish I ad paid more attention while he was alive. He seemed like a rather thougthful, cool, cat.
