Run: 3.3 miles in :26:10 min. @ 7:15 a.m.

Weather: Cloudy, 65°F, 89% Humidity, Wind: From SSW @ 7 mph; feels like 65°F.
Average Mile Page: 8:03 min./mi.
Course: Up to Cobbs Hill and along the route for tomorrow's Beth El 5k.

Just short of a week since my marathon, it may be too soon to "run," but after two hot dogs at last night's baseball game (how can you go to a ball park and not eat a hot dog?) the weight of the food in my belly is urging me to at least hit the road for a short "stumble."

During the "run," after about two miles, I began to feel a strong pulling "tweak" in the back of my left upper leg. For fear that I was exacerbating a tight muscle or tearing something, I slowed to a walk for the final mile home. With some stretching, Ben Gay and rest, I'm hopeful everything will be a "go" for tomorrow. If not, I've purchased a t-shirt out of the deal...

Breathe in, breathe out… YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
