Run: 4.1 miles in :40:16 @ 4:00 p.m.

Weather: Mostly Cloudy, 64°F, 68% Humidity, Wind: From SW @ 7 mph; feels like 64°F.
Training Plan Suggested Mileage: 4 miles
Average Mile Page: 9:49 min./mi.
Course: Around my nieghborhood, including by Cobbs Hill.

Having selected a tentative race and plan using the Santa Clarita Runners generator, I am picking up the suggested mileage midway though the second week. The mileage, initially, is fairly low, but builds to the point where my longest individual run will be of thirty miles in distance. That won't happen for quite a while though!

Today, I am planning on running only four miles, and will begin my back-to-back running days this weekend. Fortunately, given the low mileage and the pace at which I can cover the distance (presumably) fitting this into my own calendar should not be too much of a problem--the real test will be in September when the mileage will be longer and the time I'll have available (due to my kid's activities, my own new job and classes, in addition to regular ol' "stuff") will make training more of a challenge. But, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!

With nothing going on right after school, I drove home and went with my stepson on a trot around our 'hood...

Breathe in, breathe out… YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
