Supercat!

Occasionally during class, especially when assigning work that is not too taxing, I'll tell students that "my cat could do this activity." Over the course of the years that I have taught, my cat's abilities have taken on mythic levels earning a variety of different nicknames and titles, most notably "Mei-Mei the Supercat" or simply "Supercat."

Pulling out of the driveway this morning, it occurred to me that I had never posted a picture of Supercat--until now! Mei-Mei is also the longest surviving pet in our household--outpacing hamsters, hermit crabs and fish of all sorts. It's hard to believe the Supercat has been laying around the house and motivating public school students for 10+ years now!
