Seneca Park Zoo: Static Characters

Continuing my sharing of pictures taken by my son and I during our recent trip to the Seneca Park Zoo, the theme of today's photos is (are?) "static characters." By static, I mean stationary or fixed. In English class we often discuss two types of characters one encounters when reading, static and dynamic. Dynamic characters are those that change during the course of the narrative, while those that are static remain set in their ways. These are photos of birds, reptiles and mammals simply sitting there...
