Walk: 3.5 miles @ 6:30 a.m.

The fellow pictured above sat nicely while I turned my camera on this morning...

Weather: Sunny, 68°F, 75% Humidity, Wind: From S @ 6 mph; feels like 67°F.
Pace: 12:51 min/mile
Effort: 4 of 5
How did I feel? Good!

This past week, after waking early to go for a walk in an effort to loosen up my recently achy legs and knees, I purchased an inexpensive pedometer to better track how far I was walking. Previously I had used on online mapping system, but I Thoth this might be a little more authentic way to get at the information... which is not to suggest that I have abandoned using Dailymile to document my travels--something I have not needed to use in a while as my "training(?)" has been very limited of late.

While my own camera takes beautiful pictures, it is a little cumbersome to carry on brisk walks (and hard to use in neighborhoods without looking like an early morning creeper), so I've brought my wife's more compact Canon; in truth, it takes pictures of equal quality, too! There seems to have been a significant increase in the rabbit population this past spring, or at least they are more accustomed to people as I come across them more frequently than in the past, and I was glad to have the opportunity to snap the pic above this morning!
