6.2 mi. in :49:09 min. @ 6:15 a.m.

Heart Monitor Data: 698 cals, 84% MHR avg., 91% MHR max.

Weather Report: Cloudy, 68°F, 81% Humidity, Winds: Calm; feels like 68°F.

I took an extra long time to stretch out my legs this morning. Both of my knees have been unusually achey since Anne and I hiked Mt. Arab in the Adirondacks last Friday. My run this morning was at a fairly easy (Recovery/Long Distance) pace, roughly :01:30 slower than my race pace. This was planned and I am proud to say that I managed to stay within the MHR range, 75-85% MHR.

I am registered to run in the Seneca Falls Convention Days 10k Road Race this Staurday morning, and because it is a flat course (reportedly) I'm hoping for a personal best.

Feeling especially ambitious this morning, I am also considering running a second training run this afternoon in preparation for the Wild West Relay in 3(?) weeks. Things sure are heating up (UHG!).

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
