Having been folded into the front seat of a car for the majority of the past two days, my knees have been aching. Eating on the road as a vegetarian has resulted in my feasting on a primarily starch-based (hello, potatoes!) diet. So, I feel like I'm carrying a sack of potatoes around my waste and my knees have been broken. Given the cheery state of my physical being, I decided to hit the sidewalks of Kearney this evening to stretch my legs and give the "dogs" a walk.
The run went terribly, but I was glad to get out into the real air and move through the streets, even if every step hurt (just a little). I'm positive things will feel better once we've settled in Wyoming and I've had a chance to train there, albeit only for two to three days.
Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
