Run: 9.6 miles in :80:00 mins. @ 8:36 a.m.

Weather Report: Light Rain, 38°F, 97% Humidity, Winds: N @ 12 mph; feels like 30°F.

Heart Monitor Data: RUNNING BLIND--? cals, ?% MHR avg., ?% MHR max.

While strapping on my heart monitor this morning, I checked the time in advance of pressing the button to establish my resting heart beat when I noticed the time read "11:59.59"... huh?

Not to be stopped (although my monitor apparently was...) I quickly rummaged through my kids' rooms looking for a digital watch that I could use to, at least semi-accurately, track my running time. When this search proved fruitless, I fell back on my old time-keeping standby--the stove clock.

Stepping out the door, I noted the time in pen on the front page of the newspaper ("8:36 a.m.") and scuttled out into the drizzle...

Embrassez votre été invincible!
