Run: 4 miles in :33:18 min. @ 8:45 a.m.

Weather Report: Cloudy, 40°F, 81% Humidity, Winds: WSW @ 7 mph; feels like 35°F.

With two races in the next six days, today's run was little more than a formality, intended to simply offer me the opportuntiy to stretch my legs before settling into some early morning yard work... all of those leaves simply must find their way to the tree lawn for our city's annual leaf pick-up this week.

Tomorrow morning is the first offical run of the week, the 5 mile Invest in Youth Turkey Classic. My last two races have concluded with my winning my age group. I don't hold out as much hope for tomorrow's run as it is a much larger event with many of the local super-duper runners in attendance. I've spent a little time looking at last year's results and comparing them with some of my best times, in an effort to plan split times for tomorrow, but my seriously deficient math skills, combined with the fact that I haven't (or I don't remember) run a 5-miler for time before--so I have no baseline to from which to project a finishing time.

My approach to the race will be to have a good time, letting the chips fall where they may...

Embrassez votre été invincible!
