Here is yours truly sporting what my wife likes to refer to as my "Richard Nixon hair," while handing out presents at my parents house. Anne, the kids and I spent Christmas Eve there, following the kids' work at two different mass celebrations. It was nice to see my brother and his partner, who were visting from points south of the United States border... Monterray, Mexico, to be precise.

After returning home from my parents, Anne and I went about the business of putting the kids to bed and preparing for Santa's visit. Here is our tree after Anne has arranged some of the presents and I have placed candy canes on the tree. Didn't you know that's the tell-tale sign that Santa has been to visit?

"Stockings hung by the chimney with care?" Check! Check! Check! Check!

Even Gracie was gifted by Santa? She started with the holiday themed squeaky toy, but quickly moved onto a rawhide candy cane...
