Weather Report: Partly Cloudy, 51°F, 62% Humidity, Winds: SSW @ 11 mph; feels like 51°F.One of the (many!) great things about having a "Sick Day" from work is being able to run the streets of River City during the weekday. Due to a hectic work/family schedule, often my running is relegated to night time jaunts through darkened suburban streets, but in the light of the day I feel much more confident running unfamiliar routes.
This morning, I mixed passes by some of the normal running "landmarks": the Dinosaur Barbecue, The Blue Cross Arena, the local teacher's union office, with turns down a variety of alleys and streets around City Hall, the Village Gate Square and the abandoned building that formally housed the charter school I worked at a few years ago...
Despite recent thought about cutting back a little more significantly, in an effort to extend the "lifetime" of my legs, I do enjoy getting out and striding down the sidewalks and streets of our city...
Embrassez votre été invincible!
