For the second successive day, Ive endeavored to track my caloric intake. The more important variable seems to me to be the when of what I'm eating. After having breakfast at about 5:50 a.m. and lunch at anywhere from 10:00-11:30 a.m., by the time I get home from work at 4:00 p.m., I'm ravenous... and that's when the trouble begins! The following logs my caloric intake, excluding the bottles of water that I am drinking during the day. I continue to work towards my secondary dietary goal of reducing the amount of soda I'm drinking:
1 serving of Quaker Oats with a splash of milk (150 cals)Based on this formula, and given my adjusted daily caloric need for 3300 cals, I still have 300 calories to spare--but this kind of balances out as I did NOT exercise today, an important variable that contribute to my calorie needs.
2 cups of with a tbsp of half-in-half (40 cal)
1 serving size of pineapples slices (70 cal)
1 green salad with sprouts, green pepper and Caesar Salad Dressing (250 cal)
1 serving of Fish Fillets (Breaded) and 1 1/2 servings of baked "french" fries (400 cal)
3 servings of x-food(650 cal)
1 Dolma Pita and some sort of garbanzo and fava bean salad (900 cal)
cake (540 cal)
TOTAL: 3000 calories
