Cycling (Trainer): 30 min. @ 8:15 a.m.

I had registered to run in the GRTC Freezeroo Race Series, the third race of which was a 5k, scheduled to be run this morning. I did not participate, due to an achiness in my legs and a lack of motivation. I did, however, manage to get onto the trainer and may... just may... go for a short, slow run later this afternoon.

Unfortunately, I did not get to read more of Charlotte's Web during my training "ride," because it was inadvertently left on my desk at school where I have been reading it daily during my student's SSR (Sustained Silent Reading) time after lunch.

My seventh grade students and I will be starting some new literature circles in class in a few weeks. This means, to properly prepare, I need to read three different, but thematically related, pieces of historical fiction in the next week. Hoping to maximize my time, as I was "riding," I leafed through all three books in search of some sort of reading spark... after a perusal I've settled on tackling My Brother Sam Is Dead by Collier and Collier.

Embrassez votre été invincible!
