Kimmy Gibbler: [talking to D.J] Your sister is such a tattle-tale.Yup. Today I start with a quote from Full House. Yes, that Full House... Ugh.
Steph: I am not and I'm telling you said that.
This afternoon, before picking up my race packet for Sunday's Lake Effect Snowshoe Festival 4-mile event, I stopped by the YMCA for the purpose of testing my ankle to gauge whether or not it was up to running and/or snowshoeing this weekend. During the run, there was a slight discomfort, but I think that may have been due more to the polyurethane ankle wrap than the actual ankle tweak. The run itself went fine while there was still the slightest bit of lingering pain, it is not severe enough to keep me from participating in the 6.3 mile Freezeroo run tomorrow.Working out in the YMCA's Cardio-Theater(!) is a wild multi-sensory experience... there is nothing quite like running on a treadmill while being visually force fed Full House reruns and Dr. Phil, while taking an earful of techno music... trippin', man!

Best of luck on the races this weekend. Let us know about the run. I went out this morning and ran for 22 minutes and then hit the stationarybike for 18 more. I like to split the aerobic stuff up like that when it is so cold here in the hills. See you!
way to go with your training! the race was very enjoyable and it was great to suck it up and "hit" the (slushy) roads!
