Weather Report: Partly Cloudy, 65°F, 40% Humidity, Winds: From SSW @ 6 mph; feels like 65°F.Pre-Race Observations: This afternoon(!)'s run, Parkinson's Canal Run 5k is the second of the weekend, and I will be once again running with my stepson along a section of the Erie Canal which runs just South of Rochester. There is a new course this year, as well as a new start/finish, and my hope is that it is as flat as the course previously utilized. The last time Greg and I ran a race together, we finished in roughly :30:00 min, and our goal for today is to finish (much) more quickly this week. The warmer weather and later starting time should be helpful and putting us in a position to be better prepared for the rigors of the run.
Post-Race Reflections: By the time the run had begun, shortly after noon, it was indeed a little warmer than we had been currently acclimated to. After a (seemingly) long 3.2 mile, we were both happy to have accomplished our goal, which was to better the 30 minute finish we had achieved two weeks ago at the last 5k.

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
