
To start the day, I had hoped to head to the local outdoor basketball courts early this morning to practice my (feeble) fall away jump-shot (in feigned anticipation of a little "challenge game" with one of my students tomorrow), but when greeted with the frost and cold, decided that maybe I should wait for the sun to rise just a little bit higher over the horizon. I wrote yesterday (and I'm often sure to "write" things as it makes me feel more accountable to do them) that I would hit the stationary bicycle this morning, so that's exactly what I did.
Cycling (Trainer): 30 mins. @ 9:00 a.m.
By 10:00 a.m. the sun had come out from behind the clouds and the temperature had risen to a sultry 34, so Jack and I headed out to the Cobbs Hill courts. The courst were still empty by this time and we had the whole shebang to ourselves. We brought along the diigital camera for some phtograohic hijinx:
