Off-Day Training with Anne

Weather Report: Partly Cloudy, 65°F, 90% Humidity, Winds: From W @ 2 mph; feels like 63°F.

As previously mentioned, I'm finding an every-other-day training rotation to be quite as a means of slowly rebuilding my mileage base without overworking any of my injury prone parts (yes, I'm looking at YOU Mr. Knee!).

Today was an "off-day," and while I hadn't planned to run too much, I had been looking forward to going with my wife (pictured with me to the right) as she continued working through "The Aggressive Couch to 5K (3mile)" training program--4 Months" (Yup--it's a mouthful!) which is available at here and is from BeginnerTraithlete.com. Anne just completed the fifth week of a four month journey towards running and finishing a 5k.

This evening we completed the following workout together:
7 min. Walk/5 min. Run/7 min. Walk/4 min. Run/7 min. Walk
I was every happy for Anne, when, after we had "finished" the scheduled workout, she took it upon herself to run for an extra minutes... SWEET!

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
