Run: 4.5 miles in :39:33 min @ 12:30 p.m.

Weather Report: Cloudy, 30°F, 63% Humidity, Winds: From W @ 14 mph, gusting to 24 mph; feels like 20°F.

In anticipation of ham, shrimp, salad (and maybe a piece of chocolate or two) I set out for a short run this early afternoon... taking it nice and slow, I attempted to maintain a steady pace, as I made my way through the nearly empty city streets... cold weather and available late morning church services on one of the two days people go to church will afford one these luxuries!

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!

This is a poweful post. We attended church Sunday at an inner-city Episcopal church that hosts a soup kitchen. This place lives the Gospel. We have found it a meaningful place to be--to pray, to do things that help, and to be challenged about the quality of our praying, giving, and being.
