"Cycle tracks will abound in Utopia."~H.G. Wells
It’s been almost a seven days since doing any significant bicycling (other than to the library and back with my kids yesterday), so despite the fact that had already I dressed to run, a bit of "switching gears" (*groan*) was in order as I thought better of it. I put in some good mileage last week and don't want to exacerbate any aches and pains...

The ol' bike was fully rested and ready, the H2O bottle was filled and I figured I could cobble together a route through the city and surrounding ‘burbs which included a few sizable inclines to pedal up. I had a degree of success riding some hills, and attempted to maintain a level of aerobic challenge by picking up my pace, but with stop lights, traffic and pedestrians, it is difficult to go too fast…

It was oddly relaxing speeding down Westfall Road as sparrows darted to the left and right of me...

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
