A New Path Beckons

". . . the open road is a beckoning, a strangeness, a place where a man can lose himself."~William Least Heat Moon
Run: 6.4 miles in approximately :50:00 min. @ 7:10 a.m.

Weather: Mostly Cloudy, 61°F, 83% Humidity, Winds: SSW @ 6 mph; feels like 61°F.

Pace: about 7:49 min./per mile avg.

After running eight miles yesterday and six(-ish) today, I am ready to embark on an ambitious (for me) training schedule, beginning with a rest day tomorrow.
Me: I think I am going to try to this new training schedule. Could you print it out for me at work--we don't have Excel on the computer upstairs."

Anne: "Sure." (After looking at the document) "Do you think this is a good idea with your knees and all?"

Me: "Probably not, but what the heck."
If you're curious, the course I ran this morning can be viewed here, courtesy of USATF.

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
