After work today I decided to rush right home, change my clothes and go running
before it got too dark out so that I could finally mix some hill training into my training regime. The weather was unusually warm (again!), so I knew if I hustled I could get some hill repeats in as part of my scheduled ten mile run. At just about a half mile into my run I realized that not only was it a particularly warm afternoon, but it was also a very
BUGGY one, too.
The first one landed in my eye and became entangled in my lashes. I continued running while trying to poke and pull it (the bug not my eye!) out... with little luck. By the end of my run, my shirt and neck (pictured to the
right) was covered with little blackened corpses.
Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
