Very Big Belly Eating Inventory, Day 3

I used today as a "recovery day,"so there was no running, but there was eating... boy, was there eating! A second consecutive unusual day as I foolishly missed breakfast and I rushed from home to drive my wife to work allowing me the time to stop by school and prepare for the students return on Monday.

Excuse, excuses--it was a weird day and much like an idle mind being the devil's playground, a day with little to do but eat, leads one to a day of eating...

At any rate here's the damage from today:
Breakfast--Between 7:45-11:45 a.m.
1 8 oz. glass of 100% Orange Juice (120 cals)
4 cups of coffee with a tbsp of half-in-half (80 cal)
2 servings of Natural Granola Cereal w/Raisins and skim milk (540 cals)

Snack--3:30 p.m.
Sharp Vermont Cheddar Cheese & Honey Mustard (360 cal)
6 Pretzel Rods (300 cals)
5 servings Honey Roasted Virgina Peanuts (600 cals)

Dinner--6:45 p.m.
Organic Italian Blend Salad w/carrots, sprouts, scallions & Lite Raspberry-Pomegranate Dressing (140 cals)

Jack's Birthday Celebration!--8:15 p.m.
1 serving of chocolate cake (200 cals)
1.5 servings of Neapolitan ice cream (200 cals)

TOTAL: 2340 calories
My total seems awfully high, but given my daily rate of activity, the Harris-Benedict formula suggests that my adjusted daily caloric needs are 3286 cals.

I still think that 3286 is too high and I'll explore how valid this number is for me. Tomorrow, I run and starting Monday my eating habits will normalize... I hope!

Embrassez votre été invincible!
