Course: A short trip around the neighborhood and up to the Cobbs Hill Reservoir.
Pace: 7:54 min./per mile

Following the previous two days of moderately distanced runs on the trails (Genesee Riverway and Erie Canal), today was intended to be a “recovery day.” In light of the fact that I will be driving to Albany tomorrow, and will have little time to run, I have shifted my recovery day until tomorrow and set out for a short, easy run this morning.

My run this morning took me up to the Cobbs Hill Reservoir, the second (the first is pictured directly above) highest point in our fair city, and home to one of the best views of the city's skyline. It was so magnificent that, after my run, following which I generally return home to collect our Bruegger's coffee mugs and head to the store, I also took my camera with me and returned to snap the photos posted here.

As you can see the melt is on here in River City, but it won't last long as the temperatures are expected to plummet as the day proceeds... snow expected for tomorrow!
Breathe in, breathe out… YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!

Wow, that's quite an impressive honor for your daughter. Running talent certainly runs in the family!
