All things considered, this evening's run was a fairly short, easy one, which was made unnecessarily challenging due to having had too much pizza for dinner an hour and a half earlier. My let hip also felt much better, thanks to some focused light stretching prior to the run, preceded by two consecutive days of early morning (short) yoga series'.
The day after tomorrow (Saturday) will see me return to "racing" for the first time in a few weeks, though I am cautiously optimistic about my finishing time as I will be running both to and from the run so that I can expand the distance from five miles (race distance) to about nine miles (combined trip and race).
Breathe in, breathe out… YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
