Recently I came across the trailer for a "documentary in progress" about the life and work of Tibetan master yogi Garchen Rinpoche, entitled For The Benefit Of All Beings.
From the brief clip, the film seems very much in the spirit of 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama, a film I reviewed here. For the Benefit... is being produced by filmmaker Christina Lundberg. For the Benefit Of All Beings, is the story of Garchen Rinpoche, a Tibetan monk whose altruism and courage resembles that of many modern pacifist thinkers and activists inlcuding Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, and, most obviously, The Dalai Lama. Drigyun Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
If you're interested, the trailer is available for viewing at either Youtube or at the films website. (The "embedding" option had been removed so I couldn't post it here.)
