Choking Down "Culinary Culture"

"The hamburger is a culinary culture... it's actually
an American phenomenon."
~BK Employee from the "Making of..." documentray

Five million Americans can't be wrong, right? Just as indigenous people from faraway lands who don't watch ten hours of television daily and eat overly processed foods can't possibly be right for not doing so...

Of course who better than a company holding 50% of the fast food market share in nation with the fastest growing rate of obesity among its population, due in no small part to our shared fast food addiction, to fufill a culinary Manifest Destiny by spread its dietary habits to those who have not yet been blessed with its fabricated flavor?

It's difficult not to watch the pretentious employees of the fast food giant gleefully explain and validate their social experiment of sharing with the unwashed masses their mystical burger in the "documentary" above. Perhaps the only thing more nauseating than the reality of fast food burger prep itself is the conceited aplomb with which it is peddled.
