Our bus arrived back to school last night from the Rochester Relays at about 11:30 p.m., and as the drive home indicated, the weather had taken a turn for the snowier (which is not necessarily "worse"). Finally sliding into bed shortly past 12:30 a.m., I had a sense as to what part of my exercise plan might be for today... I'd likely be working my arms, abs and back the old style upstate New York way.

While the overwhelming majority of my neighbors pay to have a plow or snowcat-type thing clean their driveways following each snowfall, my wife and I are more old school... we shovel ourselves out. I know I could ask the kids to do it, but I actually enjoy the solace and satisfaction of shoveling, usually with only my wife or the dog, who occasionally will come into the front yard with me rather than spending the morning peaking of the fence (the packed snowed allows her better visibility.. as you can see above!).

effect to the license plate seems very natural, no?

Just like when you want to start Happy Hour, it's always four o'clock somewhere, it is always Music Monday somewhere. Well, not quite, but in Malaysia where Music Monday originates, it has been Music Monday for over 4 hours!
So...go for it!

P.S. -- My younger daughter loves your dog. Disney Channel has been running a "Beethoven" (the dog, not the musician) marathon all weekend, and at least Gracie's head looks just like Beethoven's... the Gracie we know at our beach house is a bulldog.
