Run: 4.8 miles in :38:37 min. @ 5:00 p.m.

Weather: Fair, 25°F, 60% Humidity, Wind: From NE @ 18 mph; feels like 12°F.
Pace: 7:59 min/per mile
Course: A circuitous route around my neighborhood.

I finally sucked it up and went out for a run after work today. With Indoor Track and Field drawing to a conclusion, and my afternoons therefor "opening up," perhaps I'll get my training groove back!

I decided to wear my "regular" training shoes, as opposed to my trail shoes (which I generally wear in winter as they offer more protection from the cold and went) with varying results. While the support and cushioning was excellent, especially as compared to my more well worn trail shoes, I felt as though the big toe on my left foot might fall off due to frost bite and my right ankle was slightly "tweeked" due to the awkward, icy footing.

Ah, the joys of winter running!

Embrassez votre été invincible!
