The Training Week That Was... 3/16-3/22

This week I also began attempting to do a better job maintaining a food log of what and when I eat. The goal here is not to necessarily lose weight, but to improve the quality and portions of what is currently part of my diet. I am unsure as to how much longer I will be maintaining this log (at least long enough to collect enough information to make some adjustments), but it is definitely helpful in knowing what I'm eating. Often,

I, like most people I bet, simply eat to "eat," with little awareness of what and how much is being jammed in my, their, our pie holes.

I also managed to stick to my plan, in terms of distances if not paces--which I did not compete as successfully, but it will come in time. Here is what went down:
Monday--Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Key Run #1 4.7 miles
Friday: Key Run #2 10.3 miles
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: Key Run #3 15.2 miles

TOTAL MILEAGE: R 30.2 miles (-2.3 miles from the previous week)
Weigh-In*: 190.5lbs. (same as the previous week) [* @ 5:30 a.m. on 3/23/09]
I also managed to go for a short bicycle ride to the movies this weekend, and due to not feeling well Sunday, getting some additional rest, too.
