The Training Week That Was... 6/2-8

I have been taking it somewhat easier these last few weeks following the Buffalo Marathon and am slowly feeling like I am ready to once again embark on a high stakes training plan... perhaps another marathon (an ultra seems a little less likely, right now)?

What did "go down" this week, relative to "training" is as follows:
Legend: R = Running, ri = recovery interval, ez = easy, mt = mid-tempo, wu = warm-up, cd = cool down, ez = easy, B = Bicycling

Monday: Rest
Tuesday: R 5.2 miles
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: B 22 miles
Friday: B 22 miles
Saturday: R 4.5 miles
Sunday: R 7.6 miles
TOTAL (Run)--17.3 miles (+8.5 miles from the previous week)
TOTAL (Bicycle)--44 miles (+0.2 miles from the previous week)
Weigh-In*: 185.0 lbs. (+2 lbs. from the previous week) [* @ 5:30 a.m. on 6/9]
Though my mileage is slowly increasing (both for running and bicycling) so does, it appears, my weight! These dog days of June have put me in a fairly sedentary mood, one during which I've been munching and eating more than I should. With an eye toward an early Fall marathon, I look forward to snapping to in the next few days as I begin to ramp up my training.

Hopefully by next week, I'll have a stronger sens as to just what it is I will training for during the upcoming summer months...

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
