While at Hickory Hills, Gracie made some new friends. Among the campers, their dogs, the birds and a stray cat or two, were two rabbit pens. Early Saturday morning, just before setting off for our return trip home, we walked with Gracie over to the rabbit pens. I was surprised to see that not only was the larger of the two rabbits unafraid of Gracie, but actually came to the side of the enclosure to touch noses with her. Needless to say, Gracie's wagging tail telegraphed her excitement at the prospect of making this new friend!
Breathe in, breathe out… YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
