Another very disciplined and relaxing week of challenging runs and ample recovery periods. This past week has seen my training return (again!)me back to the Erie Canal (to the right is a pic of me leaving the trail briefly to head over an overpass during last year's Rochester Marathon Relay). The canal trail continue to be both an excellent training tool, as well as providing a very meditative course for a beautiful Sunday morning run.Here's what went down:

I am planning on taking full advantage of whatever the days bring, including having registered for run next Saturday (5k) and Sunday (12k).

Wednesday: Rest, B 7 miles
Thursday: R 4.1 miles (t)
Friday: Rest
Saturday: R 18.1 miles (LSD)
Sunday: R 8.4 miles
TOTAL (Run)--39.8 miles (+0.7 miles from previous week)
TOTAL (Bicycle)--7 miles (-8.8 miles from the previous week)
