The Boy's JV X-C Team at Baldwinsville

The incredibly lucky streak of beautiful Fall running weather
continues for the mighty Fairport Red Raiders Cross-Country Team,
this weekend in Baldwinsville!

This morning Anne and I took the 90 minute drive out to rural Baldwinsville to watch Jack run for the Fairport Highschool JV Cross Country team in the 58th Annual Baldwinsville Cross Country Invitational. He was a little discouraged after what he thought (but was, in truth, not) a poor performance this past Tuesday in a league meet in Parma, so had hoped to run well today.

Coming past us the first time at approximately the one mile mark--looking good!

Passing our spot the second time going back into the nature path form the opposite direction.

A closer look at the boy heading down the final 200m and into the chute for an excellent finish--what determination!

Though I have zero idea what his final time or place was, I do know that he ran very well, we are very proud and most importantly that he felt great afterward!

Breathe in, breathe out… YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
