Run: 3.4 miles in 30:38 min. @ 8:10 a.m.

Weather: Cloudy/Windy, 17°F, 80% Humidity, Wind: NE @ 21 mph, gusting to 25 mph; feels like 0°F.
Course: Roughly the same as Sunday, just in reverse.
Pace: 9:00 min/mile
Effort: 5 out of 5
How did I feel? Alright.
Gear: Amphipod Xinglet Reflective Belt.

First having completed some early morning "cross training" (translation: shoveling), I then begin the process of dragging my arse into the cold for a second run in three days. While I realize two runs in three days does not seem like a big deal, given my own recent training recent history, it sure is for me.

Things went slightly better than Sunday. My thighs still ache but that is an indicator of my recent sedentary nature being blasted by exercise as much as anything. I went the same course as the previous run on Sunday, only in reverse. Though it is nice to have similar course for comparative purposes, I will need to mix-it up the next time I go out, simply as a means of keeping it fresh. Wednesday looks like a strong candidate for my next outdoor run.

Be here now!
