No "roadie" this week to see my son and his Oneonta Cross Country teammates run as they made their way west to Rochester for today's Yellowjacket Invitational sponsored by the University of Rochester at Genesee Valley Park. I'm somewhat familiar with Genesee Valley Park, but had not previously seen it marked for an 8k race. Despite an occasionally stiff breeze, the weather was beautiful for spectating, and running. OXC had another very solid day, winning the Men's and Women's team titles against strong regional talent from 24 colleges!
